Day 1

Early morning shuttle from San José to the South Caribbean. During this drive, admire the biodiversity through the extraordinary rain forest of Braulio Carrillo National Park, one of the most important rainforest reserves of Costa Rica. Upon arrival to Cahuita or Puerto Viejo, you will have the afternoon at leisure to enjoy the area, the beach or just relax at your hotel.

Day 2

Hiking and snorkeling tour at Cahuita National Park.

Cahuita National Park: snorkeling & hiking

SNORKELING: This tour is done in a 14 person boat, with a captain and guide, around the Cahuita National Park. There, we will go snorkeling for about two hours in the most important Coral Reef of Costa Rica where you could see: 35 different species of coral, 123 species of tropical fish, 3 species of sharks, 6 species of eels, 3 species of sea urchins, 140 of shellfish, 44 cahuita crustaceans, 128 types of algae, sea turtles, sea cucumbers, ocean sponges, lobster, shrimp, among others. You will be provided with snorkeling equipment (mask, fins and snorkel tube).

HIKING: The tour consists of a hike through the trail of the national park of 7 Km. approximately. The activity begins from our office in the community of Cahuita. We get in to the National Park by the White Beach Sector, up to Cahuita point, crossing through beautiful beaches where tourist can relax and swim in the calm water of the Caribbean Sea for a while.

Cahuita points between Cahuita Point and the town of Cahuita (3.5 km). It is possible to observe various types of snakes (boas, bocaraca, bush master, eyelash vipers, etc.), sloths, white faced and howler monkeys, anteaters, armadillos, raccoons, blue morpho butterflies among others, birds and many more things such as: medicinal plants, orchids, trees, ferns, vertebrates, invertebrates, sea and earth shellfish, etc.

Day 3

Breakfast at your hotel.

Regular shuttle transfer from your hotel in the Caribbean to Arenal.

Upon arrival to La Fortuna de Arenal, you will have the afternoon at leisure to enjoy the area, take an optional tour or just relax at your hotel.

Overnight in Arenal.

Day 4

Breakfast at your hotel.

Morning at leisure. Morning optional tours available.

Afternoon visit to Baldí Hot Springs.

The Arenal Volcano, situated in the province of Alajuela, is one the most active volcanoes in the Americas. In 1968 it erupted decimating the small town of Baldí. After an enchanting day marveling at the awesomeness that is the Arenal Volcano, we will visit the Baldí Hot Springs and bask in the soothing waters whilst being caressed by the cool night air and marveling at the crystal clear night sky as we contemplate our existence. Later that evening, we will treat you to a scrumptious dinner and at the end of the evening you will be transferred to your hotel in Arenal

Day 5

Breakfast at your hotel.

Morning transfer from Arenal to Monteverde, crossing The Arenal Lake.

Hanging Bridges Tour at Sky Adventures. Lunch and transportation is included.

Overnight in Monteverde.

Day 6

Breakfast at your hotel.

Morning at leisure. Optional tours available.

Afternoon shuttle transfer to San José. Lodging in San José not included.
